Lancaster County deputies seize over 6 pounds of marijuana, AR-15 on I-80

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A Milwaukee man was arrested after Lancaster County deputies seized over 6 pounds of marijuana, two guns and several rounds of ammo on Interstate 80.

On Friday, a deputy pulled over a Ford F-150 on I-80 just west of Lincoln, Sheriff Terry Wagner said.

During the traffic stop, the deputy smelled marijuana and also spotted some inside the vehicle, according to Wagner.

Deputies then began a search and found 6.75 pounds of marijuana, an AR-15 rifle, a pistol, 560 rounds of ammo and $3,000.

Grant Bawden, 23, of Milwaukee was arrested on suspicion of possessing a concealed weapon, possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and possession of money while violating state law.
