Lancaster County Jail inmate cited for shattering jail cell window
Lincoln Police were called to the Lancaster County Jail on Monday after jail staff reported that an inmate had shattered the window in her cell.
Jail staff told Lincoln Police that an inmate, 34-year-old Danielle Winter, began screaming and smashed her food tray into the window on her cell door, shattering it and causing damage.
Winter had been lodged in jail for a previous incident on January 1st.
Winter was cited for destruction of property and released back to jail staff.
