Lancaster County unofficial election results


LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) –Two incumbents will keep their Lincoln City Council seats based on unofficial results from the Lancaster County Election. Sandra Washington and Bennie Shobe both claimed victory in the election. Washington’s early results show 27,436 total votes and Shobe with 26,302.

Tom Beckius a newcomer to City Council also beat out incumbent Roy Christensen in the election. Beckius with 26,448 and Christensen with 25,009 votes.

Additionally, the airport authority unofficial winners are John S. Olsson with 28,417 and Nicki Behmer with 22,393.

Kathy Danek won District 1 seat for the Lincoln Board of Education seat with 3,725. Don Mayhew won the District 7 seat with 3,192.

Lanny Boswell and Barbara Baier both won their seats on Board of Education.
