Latest Lancaster County COVID-19 cases

On Sunday, the county reported 61 new cases of COVID-19.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Here’s the latest COVID-19 numbers in Lancaster County as of Sunday, September 27.

The Lancaster County Health Department announced 61 new confirmed cases, bringing the community total to 6,294. The number of deaths remains at 24, and recoveries are up to 2,394.

As for total tests given, the county reports 75,031 completed tests. Of these, 3,873 tests were administered this week.

The overall positivity rate for the county remains at 8.4 percent.

Symptoms of COVID-19 include fever, cough, shortness of breath, repeated shaking with chills, repeated muscle pain, headache, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell.  If you have symptoms, please get tested.  Testing is now open to all Lancaster County residents by appointment only.
