Legacy Arbors hosts ‘Rockin’ for a Reason’ Alzheimer’s Fundraiser

Legacy Arbors held it’s fifth annual ‘Seniors Rockin’ for a Reason,’ Alzheimer’s fundraiser on Thursday.

It helps to raise money and awareness about the disease.

The residents rocked in rocking chairs, sang songs, and even got to hold a 2-month-old baby.

Channel 8′ s own anchor Rod Fowler was also there to help out!

The event also sold crafts, food and clothes.

Last year, Legacy Arbors raised $7,000 dollars for ‘The Walk to End Alzheimer’s,’ held annually in October.
