LFR battles large house fire in South Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Lincoln Fire and Rescue were called the scene of a large house fire Saturday night. It happened shortly after 10 p.m. on Happy Hollow Lane, near 56th and Pine Lake are.

A Channel 8 reporter on scene reported seeing large billows of smoke coming from the house. Officials worked on putting out the fire for almost 15 minutes, after it was put out, another fire sparked in the attic again. A camper also caught fire on the side of the house.

Everyone inside the home was able to make it out, while two pets had to be rescued from inside.
