Lincoln Animal Control rescues injured hawk from parking lot

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Animal control saved an injured hawk from a parking lot in northeast Lincoln on Monday.

Lincoln Animal Control said an officer found the 2-year-old red-tailed hawk stuck inside a fenced parking lot.

The hawk appeared to have a broken wing, according to a Facebook post.

Animal control said the hawk was then taken to Raptor Recovery where it is now receiving care.
