Lincoln brewery adds delivery service to cope with COVID-19

Many businesses in Lincoln have closed their doors due to the outbreak. However thanks to a few adjustments,  one local brewery is staying open.

White Elm Brewing Co. is sealing their popular draft beers and delivering them straight to customers doors in response to the virus.

The brewery located on 720 Van Dorn St in Lincoln started the delivery service yesterday.

The owner says he appreciates all the support.

“I mean it speaks greatly to the resilience of Nebraskan’s as a whole,” said Kolby Wood, Owner of White Elm Brewing Co. “Everybody is sort of rallying around their neighbor and doing everything they can to make sure the small business owners have a means of income in these trying times.”

Although customers are still allowed to come inside and order up front, they are not allowed to sit in the taproom for the time being.

Orders must be made between 1-4pm and must be an order of $25 minimum.
