Lincoln catering company donates 100,000 meals to Food Bank of Lincoln
"We aren't just cooking for you, we are cooking for our whole community."

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A Lincoln catering company is marking a big milestone in its mission to help the Food Bank of Lincoln.
ChefauChef owner Aaron Young and his team created their signature Wham Bam Meal In A Pan to-go meals about two-and-a-half years ago.
For every Wham Bam meal sold, ChefauChef donates a dollar (equivalent of about three meals) to the Food Bank.
Over time, those small contributions have added up to a significant total.

“Over the last two and a half years, we’ve been able to provide, with the purchases everyone has made, over 100,000 meals to the Food Bank,” Young said.
Young says giving back to the community is one of the company’s core values, and says the donations are just one way to do that.
“It’s such a cool feeling,” he said. “We aren’t just cooking for you, we are cooking for our whole community.”
