LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Lincoln Children’s Museum will be adding a new interactive veterinary clinic exhibit this December.

The new exhibit upgrades a previous pet shop exhibit into an interactive hands-on veterinary clinic. Zoetis, a global animal health company, provided the funding for the new exhibit.

The new exhibit will be open to the public beginning on Saturday, December 11.

The exhibit allows children to put on a veterinarian coat, review animal x-rays and test their animal knowledge in two interactive games.

“We hope that children will learn about the importance of animal health and be inspired to pursue careers in veterinary medicine or other science-related fields,” said Chris Rasmussen, Site Lead, Zoetis Lincoln.

The Museum will host local non-profits for children to interact with during the opening weekend.
