The Lincoln Children’s Zoo announced it is canceling the first three weeks of summer camp because of restrictions related to COVID-19.

Families who paid for the camp from May 26 through June 12 will receive full refunds, the Zoo said.

The Zoo said it has not decided to cancel all summer camps at this time, and that it is working with local health and government officials to hopefully still offer some summer camp experiences.

For families who are not comfortable with their child attending camp at all, the Lincoln Children’s Zoo will be offering full refunds to any family registered for camps after June 15. Families can also donate the money to the Zoo if they wish.
