Lincoln club gives young adults with autism a chance to make art
Young adults with disabilities come together to make new friends and make art.
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Urban Legends Art Studio hosted its monthly Young Adult Art Social Club on Wednesday, giving people on the autism a spectrum a chance to make art.
The program focuses on helping young adults with disabilities make new friends and enjoy art together.
The monthly get-together is also a time for caregivers to meet up, share ideas and support each other.
The social club is partnered with Autism Family Network and the Urban Legends Art Studio and is funded by a grant from the Lincoln Arts Council.
