Lincoln convenience store employee tests positive for COVID-19

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — On Thursday, Lincoln’s S. 56th Street Kwik Shop location released a statement saying one of their employees tested positive for COVID-19.
The convenience store states they are taking ‘all appropriate steps following guidance from local health officials’. This location, at 2040 S. 56th St., closed the store at 9:00 p.m. Wednesday to be cleaned and sanitized by an industrial cleaning crew.
The store will remain temporarily closed for the next few days before re-opening.
All staff members who may have come into contact with the individual are advised to follow CDC-recommended guidelines.
