Lincoln Crime Stoppers: One successful crime, one not so much

Our first case involves a failed theft attempt, the second works out, but there are good pictures of the suspect.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – We have to go back a bit further than usual when we review this week’s cases. We start on July 20th of this year. Photos show a female suspect going into the Home Depot on North 27th Street. Employees say she took a trio of Milwaukee power tools and stuffed them into her purse before heading to the front of the store. When she tried to leave, loss prevention stopped the suspect, so she dropped her purse and ran off.

Our second case is further back still. October 19th of 2020, a male suspect calmly enters Scheels, picks out an armful of clothes, and then runs right out the door. The photos of the suspect and the car he drove off in are very clear; it’s a dark-colored Audi sedan.

As always, you can view these and other cases on the Lincoln Crime Stoppers website and leave tips there.
