Lincoln Crime Stoppers: Some suspicious swipers

We have two very different instances of theft this week.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – This week’s cases are weird, plain and simple. First, we go back to May 29 and the North Lincoln Walmart. The suspects are shown using the self-checkout lane, where they scan some items and skip others. Included in the missed scans are a ribeye, candy, and a shrub, making for a very odd shopping list. The male suspect has a distinctive arm tattoo, which shows up in excellent detail in the photos.

Moving to August 2, the U-Haul at 4700 Cornhusker had a surprising theft. A check over their fleet showed one vehicle down almost 30 gallons of gas. When they reviewed their security footage, they noticed a dark pickup truck came over the night, went behind the truck in question, and left after 20 minutes or so. It’s suspected that the missing 30 gallons of gas went along with them.

If you think you know the identity of the suspects in these cases, check out the Crime Stoppers website.
