LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A Lincoln man was arrested after police say he broke into Frontier Harley-Davidson on Friday morning and stole motorcycles.

Around 8:33 a.m., employees called Lincoln Police after finding a shattered window at the store near Northwest 40th and West O Streets.

Items were also stolen from the store, including a 2022 FLHXS valued at $21,000 and a 2022 RH975 valued at $13,500, police say.

Wellington Carngbe, 36, was identified as the suspect through security video at the store.  He was also still at the store when an employee arrived.

The RH975, along with other items, was located in a trailer.

Carngbe was found after another, unrelated, call to police.

He was arrested on suspicion of burglary.

Police say the stolen items are worth $42,300.  The damage done to the building, security cameras and motorcycles was estimated at $4,700.

All of the items were returned to the store.
