LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A Lincoln man will spend over a decade in prison for selling meth across the city, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said.

Manuel Gonzalez, 59, was sentenced Wednesday to 15 years for conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of a mixture containing meth.

Investigators said Gonzalez was involved in selling more than 500 grams of meth in Lincoln from October 2019 to April 2021.

In October 2019, Gonzalez made two sales to an informant working with the Lincoln/Lancaster County Narcotics Task Force.

Gonzalez had previously been convicted of a serious drug felony in 2018, the attorney’s office said.

He will serve 10 years on supervised release.  There is no parole in the federal system.
