Lincoln man stabbed twice in chest before suspect fled

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — On Sunday, Aug. 9, Lincoln Police Department (LPD) officers were dispatched to the U-Stop Convenience Store at 110 W. O St.

Officers arrived around 12:45 a.m.

A report described a stabbing of a man and he was asking for help. Witnesses told LPD officers that an unknown man approached two men.

The 27-year-old victim was stabbed twice in the chest before the suspect left. The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect is still not located and the investigation is ongoing.
