Lincoln man tased after leading police on short pursuit

Authorities arrested a Lincoln man after he reportedly led police on a short pursuit.
Lincoln police said 34-year-old Daniel Kennedy was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and use of a vehicle to avoid arrest.
Officers attempted to stop Kennedy for speeding near B Street and Goodhue around 12:45 a.m. Thursday. Kennedy reportedly fled to the area of 20th and C Street, where he stopped and took off on foot.
Kennedy refused to listen to officer commands and an officer deployed a taser, police said.
