LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – For the second time, Colton Arias of Lincoln, is the History Channel’s Forged in Fire champion.

The show tests some of the best in the field as they attempt to re-create some of history’s most iconic edged weapons.

Arias competed on the show back in 2019 when he was just 18-years-old.

This year, Arias was competing in Season 9 Episode 1 titled Young Guns Challenge.

The History Channel described the episode as:

In this special competition, four of our youngest champions return to compete in the Young Guns Challenge. These talented 20-somethings are tasked with turning trampolines and skateboards into fully functional knives. The best of the Young Guns then return home to recreate the legendary German Longsword. After their weapons are put through their paces, only one of these young returning champs will earn yet another $10,000 and enter the elite club of two-time Forged in Fire Champions.

While Arias wasn’t the youngest ever to win the challenge back in 2019, he is said to be one of the youngest to compete on the show.
