Police said two men were assaulted with a bat at 4:00 a.m. Friday morning.

The victims, a 43-year-old man and his 26-year-old nephew told police they were inside their home near 25th and J street when they heard glass breaking outside.

Police said they went outside to investigate and saw a man holding a bat near a car with a broken window.

That’s when police said the suspect attacked them. One lost consciousness and the other suffered a skull fracture.

Witnesses saw it happen, but there is no suspect description at this time.
