Lincoln Pawn Shop Burglary
Than 15,000 dollars worth of jewelry was stolen from a downtown Lincoln pawn shop overnight Friday, but the suspected burglar was quickly apprehended. The break-in at the Royal Pawn Shop, 118 South 9th Street, took place around three Saturday morning. Shortly thereafter, 19-year old Joshua Brown of Lincoln was arrested a few blocks away. More than 15,700 dollars in jewelry, inclucing some 174 rings had been taken. There was an estimated 800 dollars in damage to the pawn shop in the break-in.
