Lincoln police investigating stabbing and robbery, one suspect still being pursued
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Lincoln Police Department (LPD) is investigating a stabbing and robbery that occurred on Sept. 30.
Just before 1:30 a.m., officers responded to a report of a stabbing. The stabbing and robbery occurred at an apartment in the area of North 44th Street and Huntington Avenue.
According to LPD, a 47-year-old Lincoln man told officers two men cut him with a machete or large knife. The two men reportedly stole the victim’s laptop, wallet, cash and cell phone. He had several lacerations to his arms and back.
Officers determined the identity of one of the suspects to be Bryan Glaze, 48, of Lincoln. They contacted him at the apartment complex and took Glaze into custody with no incident.
LPD is still searching for the second man involved. The weapon used has not been located.
