Lincoln Police issue over 100 citations in distracted driving enforcement campaign

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Lincoln Police Department has released the results of its distracted driving enforcement campaign.
Officers paid extra attention to highly trafficked intersections with the hopes of cracking down on red light violations.
The results of the campaign include hundreds of warnings and citations:

The campaign ran from April 1 through 22 and was funded through the Nebraska Department of Transportation’s Highway Safety Office.
