Lincoln police release school traffic enforcement project results

Lincoln police have released the results of a back to school traffic enforcement project. 

The annual project ran from August 13-30th, with emphasis on enforcement around various schools throughout the city. 

In total, 726 citations, warnings, and arrests were made. Notable results included 307 speeding citations, 59 speeding warnings, 59 seatbelt citations, seven suspended drivers, two narcotics citations and two arrest warrants.
