Lincoln principal spends night on school’s roof after losing bet to students

The students surpassed the school's fundraising goals

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The principal of St. Joseph’s School spent Thursday night on the school’s roof after the school met its fundraising goal.

Kevin Naumann made a deal with his students, that if they hit their fundraising goal he’d sleep on the roof, the students surpassed their goal.

“I’m resigned to that fact, and I’m happy to do that for our students,” Naumann said.

The goal was initially $30,000 but after an anonymous donation, the total was well over $100,000.

The money was being raised for school renovations.
