UPDATE: Lincoln Public Schools cases by the numbers

The district is reporting 206 cases since Monday.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN)– Lincoln Public Schools announced they have more than 200 COVID-19 cases for the first time since the beginning of the fall semester.

The district is reporting 206 cases since Monday. That’s the most its reported in a week since it had 209 cases the week of Aug. 29.

LPS say 187 students have tested positive for the virus this week, led by 91 positive results from elementary schools. Nineteen total cases are reported among staff from the entire district.
