Lincoln seeing delays in COVID test results

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Wait times for your COVID results are now longer than ever due to the current surge.

Nomi Health testing site, behind Gateway Mall, says the rapid antigen test will take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour for your results. But the PCR test, which seems to be the most accurate, could take about two days.

“With the PCR we usually have the 24-hour turnaround because Nomi Health has their own labs, we’re able to get everything done a little bit quicker. But again with this surge that we’re seeing all over the nation, we’re looking at about 48 hours,” Carolina Herrin, the Operations Director of Nomi Health said.

The site is testing around 500 people a day and has appointments available on their website.
