Lincoln Stroke Partnership members highlight community awareness
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN)- Erin Engelman from Madonna Rehabilitation Hospitals and Mary Ellen Hook from Bryan Health are both Lincoln Stroke Partnership members.
May is Stroke Awareness Month. Engelman and Hook say strokes can impact anyone of any age. Every 40 seconds, someone in the United States has a stroke.
‘Strike Out Stroke’ is happening Friday, May 19th at Lincoln Saltdogs Haymarket Park. A portion of the proceeds will go to the campaign.
