Lincoln Strong online music festival aims to support local musicians, restaurants

Lincoln residents practicing social distancing are invited to enjoy live music online.

Lincoln Strong is a streaming music festival that will run every Thursday night. It will feature live performances from local musicians.

Donations will also be accepted to provide financial support to local musicians and local businesses impacted by COVID-19.

“Local food and local music can lift our spirits and are part of the fabric of what makes Lincoln an incredible, vibrant community,” organizer said.

The performances are Thursdays from 6-8 p.m. from April 9 through May 28. Listeners are encouraged to order takeout from their favorite local restaurant before tuning in.
