Lincoln task force members return from search for missing man in Boyd County

A group of elite search and rescue operators was called in to aid the search for a missing Boyd County man whose bar was swept away by flood waters.

Nebraska Task Force 1’s Brad Thavenet told Channel 8 Eyewitness News an 11-member team returned from its search on Sunday.

The group, which worked alongside the Nebraska State Patrol and Nebraska National Guard, also included three K9 units.

Boyd County officials asked for the group to help search areas of “high probability” where the missing man may have been found. The team did not find the man, Thavenet said.
