Lincoln Weather Update: Friday, July 10

The sunny, hot and sticky weather return to close out the week. Another round of severe weather returns tonight into Saturday morning. Storms will move into northern Nebraska this evening and continue moving southeast overnight. A few may be strong to severe with wind as the primary weather threat.

The weekend turns mild with temperatures in the mid to upper 80s. Mostly sunny and dry for both days. However, humidity levels will be much lower on Sunday making for a pretty comfortable end to the e.

Small shower and thunderstorm chances return for the beginning of next week. The heat and humidity also creep back in with highs in the upper 80s to low 90s. As of now, the extended forecast looks like a scorcher with highs in the mid to upper 90s!
