Lincoln Weather Update: Friday, May 1

Happy May Day! It’s May already, where has the time gone? Today we will be celebrating May day with temperatures in the upper 80s! We will begin the day with mostly cloudy skies, becoming mostly sunny for the afternoon. Wind will be just a tad breezy with south/southwest winds at 5-15 mph. Don’t forget the sunblock if you plan on being outside for awhile!

The weekend will be cooler but still mild with highs in the mid to upper 70s both days. However, rain chances will also be littered throughout the weekend. Best chance to see that moisture will be Saturday night to Sunday morning, then again Sunday night into Monday. But there will be enough dry-time both days to really be able to enjoy the weekend!

Small rain chances continue throughout next week. Those temperatures also continue to cool off. Highs will be around average in the upper 60s to low 70s much of the week.
