Lincoln Weather Update: Friday, May 29

There was a different feel to the morning as we woke up to clear skies and a nice sunrise! Today will be a fantastic Friday. Sunny skies will continue throughout the day but it will be a little cooler with highs in the middle to upper 70s. Clouds will increase overnight ahead of our next little disturbance that will affect the weekend.

Mostly cloudy for the start of the weekend. Scattered rain is expected throughout the day. It won’t be an all day rain, but you may need to dodge a few showers. The clouds will also help keep those temperatures down. Highs are forecast in the upper 60s.

We’ll be a little more seasonal on Sunday with highs in the middle 70s. Showers may linger into Sunday morning before drying out and staying partly sunny for the day.

The summer heat returns on Monday. Upper 80s to low 90s will be around throughout next week along with increased humidity. A few dry days are expected along with a few chances of showers and thunderstorms by the end of the week.  Time to break out the summer clothes…and maybe turn that A/C on too!
