Lincoln Weather Update, June 28, 2020

The hot weather will continue for the foreseeable future. Not only will it be hot during the day with afternoon highs generally in the lower 90s, but overnight lows will be very warm, too. We’ll likely not drop below 70 degrees for the next several days. Not helping matters will be the dew point. That’s expected to be in the 60s and low 70s, as well. That will mean the heat index in the afternoons will be pushing close to triple digits.

There will be a chance for storms every now and then, but not everybody will see rain. Monday will likely be dry for most of us, but a chance for storms comes back into the forecast for Tuesday into Wednesday and Thursday.
