Lincoln Weather Update: Monday, August 24

We are in the home stretch…of the last full week of August that. To celebrate, it will be a scorcher of a week with 90s most of the time. While yes, it is August and still summer, our average high right now is 86 degrees…not 96.

Sunny, hot and a bit humid for the day. Highs today pushing into the middle 90s. However, it may feel more like the triple digits for the afternoon. There will be a south breeze around 10-20 mph. Much like this morning, it will be mild overnight as temperatures fall around 70.

It will be a copy and paste forecast the rest of the week. Sunny, hot, dry with temperatures in the middle 90s through Thursday. Below average temperatures move in for the weekend and beyond. Rain chances also increase for the weekend.
