Lincoln Weather Update: Thursday, August 27

Another hot and sunny day with highs in the middle 90s expected for Thursday. However, today will be a little more humid with real feel temps pushing the triple digits. The breeze will stick around from the southwest wind at 10-20 mph. It will stay quiet and mild once again overnight with lows around 70. One last 90 degree day in the forecast for Friday before a cool front swings through during the day. This may spark a few isolated storms…while most of us will be dry that possibility is still there.

Cooler weather arrives for the weekend with low to middle 80s both Saturday and Sunday. Saturday will be sunny, warm and comfortable while Sunday gives us a few small isolated rain chances. The best chance of precip in southeast Nebraska still remains Sunday night into Monday.

Scattered rain chances continue into the beginning of next week. Temperatures drop into the upper 70s, just in time for the start of September.
