Lincoln Weather Update: Thursday, July 9

After a noisy night, we’re looking at a quiet day across eastern Nebraska. It will be cooler with highs in the middle to upper 80s but it will still be muggy, just maybe not as muggy as it has been! An isolated thundershower or two is possible late tonight, but most of the storm activity should stay to the west.

We won’t be as hot over the next couple of days with highs in the middle 80s to 90 degrees. It will, however, still be muggy through Saturday. Sunday will be cooler and much more pleasant with lower humidity. Another round of strong storms will be possible in eastern Nebraska Friday night into Saturday morning.

The heat and humidity return for much of next week. Highs in the low to middle 90s with storm chances thru Wednesday.
