Lincoln Weather Update: Tuesday, August 4

Another cool and crisp start to the morning. Temperatures in the 40s and 50s this morning will warm only into the upper 70s this afternoon. The comfort level remains quite pleasant for the day. Skies becoming mostly cloudy overnight with temps not as cold, but still falling back into the upper 50s. A few passing showers possible early Wednesday morning, but most of the precipitation should remain north of I-80 in northeast Nebraska.

Temperatures continue to warm thru the rest of the weekend. Low to mid 80s both Wednesday and Thursday, with the muggy weather slowly creeping in. Then that summer heat returns for the weekend with low 90s and humid conditions Friday thru Sunday.

Small rain chances almost everyday in the forecast. Very scattered in nature so not everyone will experience rain. Considering yourself lucky if you do find yourself under a passing rain shower!
