Lincoln Weather Update: Tuesday, September 1

Happy first day of meteorological fall! To celebrate, we have another pleasant day on tap. Clouds will decrease throughout the day, allowing for some sunny skies once again. Highs pushing the upper 70s and it will be less breezy with an east breeze at 5-10 mph. Clear skies tonight and another cool, window weather night. So turn off the A/C and open the windows as temperatures will drop into the middle 50s!

The rest of the week will be sunny and dry with a rollercoaster of temperatures. Temperatures soar a good 10 degrees into the upper 80s on Wednesday. Low 80s return on Thursday, with breezy conditions as a front slides across the area. Mid 80s return for Friday with temperatures pushing 90 degrees by Saturday.

Fall really shows it face as next week arrives. Temperatures take a plunge into the upper 60s and low 70s for most of the week. Small rain chances throughout Labor Day with a better chance of precitation on Tuesday.
