Lincoln Weather Update: Tuesday, September 29

Brrrrr. Waking up to another cold morning with temperatures in the 30s and 40s. However, it’ll be the warmest day of the week as highs this afternoon climb into the upper 70s. The breeze sticks around with west wind gusts up to 30 mph. The wind will relax overnight and temperatures fall near 50 degrees. Breezy conditions return for Wednesday as a cold front moves through. Highs on Wednesday will be near average with highs in the lower 70s. Temperatures come crashing for the rest of the week. Highs in teh low 60s both Thursday and Friday.

Morning lows on Friday are forecast in the low to middle 30s. Meaning our first frost is possible this week. Which is on-par for Lincoln as our average first frost is September 29th. Time to bring in any plants you have outdoors! Small chance of rain Saturday morning, otherwise dry weather thru the weekend and beyond.
