Lincoln Weather Update: Wednesday, August 12

A warm and humid start for the first day of school! Getting toasty by the afternoon with highs in the upper 80s but dewpoints in the 70s will make it feel more like the 90s. Skies will stay partly sunny today with isolated shower/sprinkle chances late in the day. A better chance for showers and storms will be overnight, lingering into Thursday morning. The seasonal, but humid weather continues into the weekend. Temperatures in the upper 80s with dewpoint temps in the low to middle 70s.

Temperatures begin to drop throughout the weekend as a cold front slides through. Lower humidity on Sunday with highs in the low 80s.

The start of next week looks spectacular! Much cooler and comfortable weather ahead with highs around 80 degrees.
