Lincoln Weather Update: Wednesday, August 19

A sweatshirt may be needed this morning as our temperatures have fallen into the 50s this morning. However, that can be shed for the afternoon as we have another mild day on tap. Highs in the low to middle 80s and not too humid once again. Sound familiar? Mainly sunny skies will be dominant over much of eastern Nebraska today. Clear skies continue overnight, with temperatures falling back into the low 60s for Thursday morning. Sunny skies the rest of the week as temps warm into the upper 80s with humidity slowly creeping in.

Summer heat returns for the weekend. Hot, dry and a bit humid. Highs in the low 90s both days. A great pool or lake weekend, just don’t forget the sunscreen, shades and cold drinks! The 90s spill over into the beginning of next week. Staying sunny and humid as well.
