Severe Weather Threat Tonight

Spc May 13

Scattered showers and storms will continue to don the forecast through the weekend. A warming trend with normal May temperatures also return this week.

Mostly cloudy skies for Wednesday once again with spotty showers through the afternoon. Storms will be possible then this evening and overnight in southern/southeast Nebraska as a warm front pushes north out of Kansas. Storms could be strong to severe, mainly along and south of I-80. Large hail and heavy rain are the main threats with these storms.  Rain and storms will linger into Thursday morning.

Shower and thunderstorm chances will stick around through the weekend. They won’t be an all-day wash type of event, but the chances to see precip will be there. We also will warm up the rest of the week as climb near average in the low to middle 70s.

We see a bit of a drying period next week and it summer-like temperatures return to the playing field. Might need to need to turn the A/C on as highs reach the 80s for next week!
