Lincoln Weather Update: Wednesday, September 23

Patchy fog and low level clouds possible this morning. Clearing out and allowing mainly sunny skies for the afternoon. Temperatures will be summer-like once again with highs in the lower 80s. Breezy at times, south wind at 10-20 mph. Mostly clear skies tonight and mild as temps fall back into the upper 50s.

The warm temperatures continue the rest of the week. Thursday will be sunny with highs in the middle 80s. Friday will be a hot but breezy day as highs push that 90 degree mark.

A cold front is still expected to move through for the weekend. However, models seem to agree that it will be lacking moisture…with only a small chance of a shower or sprinkles for Saturday. Highs also drop into the upper 70s near 80 degree both Saturday and Sunday.

Sweater weather is on for next week with a continued cool down. Highs forecast in the 60s wih lows in the 40s much of next week.
