Lincoln welcomes nearly 200 soldiers after deployment in Washington D.C.

Welcome home ceremony for Nebraska National Guard

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Today nearly 200 Nebraska National Guard soldiers were welcomed home at Lincoln Northwest High School. They were deployed to Washington, D.C. as part of the Task Force Wolf.

The welcome home ceremony started at 2 p.m.

Gov. Jim Pillen was there to welcome them home after their four-month mission.

“These men and women represented Nebraska with honor, showing people from around the world what it means to be a Nebraskan,” said Pillen.
