Lincoln’s Halloween Weather Update

Happy Halloween! No tricks in our forecast tonight or the foreseeable future!

Some clouds are moving in this evening but will continue pushing southeast throughout the night. That will give us clear skies and perfect viewing of the Halloween full moon happening tonight. This happens to be what we call a blue moon, or the second full moon of the October. Next time we experience a full moon on Halloween will be in 2039! Temperatures falling around 30 degrees by Sunday morning. Reminder, don’t forget to set you clocks back an hour when you go to bed tonight!

Sunny skies but much cooler temperatures will stick around into Sunday. Highs in the lower 50s. It will be less breezy than Saturday, but there will still be a northwest wind at 5-15 mph. Skies will stay clear heading into Sunday night will allow for good viewing of the moon once again, which will still appear full.

High pressure builds in for next week. A sunny and dry forecast in sight with temperatures in the 70s!
