Lincoln’s Salt Creek Levee Trail closed, starting today

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — According to Lincoln’s Parks and Recreation Department, the Salt Creek Levee Trail between A and Calvert Streets will be closed, starting Thursday.

The closure is due to repairs being done on the levees by the Army Corps of Engineers. As of now, there is no set completion date and trail users are advised to use the Jamaica North Trail in the area.

The Salt Creek Levee Trail between “A” and Calvert streets is now closed while the Army Corps of Engineers repairs the levees.  The project completion date has not been determined.  Trail users are advised to use the Jamaica North Trail in that area.
