8 Investigates Lincoln’s Overdose Crisis Panel Discussion

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN)– We’ve been investigating Lincoln’s overdose crisis since a health alert was issued on August 19.  The number of fentanyl overdoses jumped to numbers unlike we’ve ever seen.

180 total overdoses so far this year, nearly 50 more than all of last year; and 52 of those people died.

We continue our investigation tonight in this live discussion with Lincoln Police Captain Ryan Dale, Taisa Brumagen an overdose survivor, and Topher Hansen, President of CenterPointe.
