LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Lincoln’s Mayor and local health officials update the community on our fight against the coronavirus live at 3:30 p.m.
Officials with the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department (LLCHD) report three new COVID deaths in the community, with the total now at 161.
The deceased have been identified as two women who were hospitalized, one in her 40’s and one in her 90’s, and a man in his 70’s in a long-term care facility.
Additionally, 187 new lab-confirmed cases were reported, bringing the community total to 23,426.
The county is reporting 7,322 people have recovered from COVID-19. While the weekly positivity rate is at 36%.
As of today, 100 people are hospitalized due to the coronavirus (65 from Lancaster County). A total of six patients are on ventilators.
